Jose Lopez Hernandez

Jose Lopez Hernandez is a Program Assistant within the Ford Foundation's Office of Strategy and Learning, where he works alongside program teams on their strategy development and evaluation. Originally from Mexico City and raised in Poughkeepsie, Jose’s work is deeply informed by his passion for immigrant rights and equitable access to higher education. Before joining Ford, Jose served as the Finance Associate for the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, a nonprofit organization he continues to support as a member of its Board of Directors. Jose is a graduate of Dutchess Community College and the City College of New York with a degree in International Relations.
